Spending time with workmates after work has never been a let down. I highly encourage social gatherings. It is a stress reliever from the daily stress and workload that one has to take on daily. This is the best time to get to know your mates better and also to learn more about their true character. Most managers are serious people at work but I am quite sure they have a different side to themselves. I met a person who is known to be hard to work with in the office but a cool and friendly person outside of it. Are professionals nurtured to put on a mask at work and not be themselves?
