Seoul, especially where we stayed, has a lot of little cafes to satisfy high octane caffeine lovers. It is also great for couples and individuals to get cozy during the cooler days. Where we stayed happen to embrace the coffee culture quite well. We walked by Changdeokgung Palace, along Changdeokgung-Gil, until we came to our first coffee house. It is a take away counter in a wall. The aroma of roasted coffee beans coming out from it was 'orgasmic'. Oliee and I had to grab one for the road and it was worth it.
Across the street, Bukcheon-gil, there was a nice little concept restaurant. I think they serve up Korean fusion dishes. The house was fully booked for a wedding and we got to see the bride and groom chilling at the balcony. The groom was wearing a nice black suit with white gloves on and the bride was wearing the traditional Korean dress, also known natively as Hanbok. It was exactly like what we see in Korean movies. Okay I do admit that I have watch a few Korean movies in the past. Only because I like the interaction between different characters and the drama that goes along with it.
