Seoul: Fire Hydrant

We are lost and and I could not find any better spot to rest but here. The red classy fire hydrant in front of us just so decides to slant ahead like the leaning tower of Pisa. It must be the steep road that it was on. Some car owner braved this steep hill to risk their car from rolling back out on to a cliff. Maybe having a fire hydrant might be a good idea to put out a potential fire. Anyway this is possibly the only red cute fire hydrant in Seoul, we never saw another one quite like it.

There is an observation deck on the right. It will give you a great view of the surrounding shops below. Not forgetting the cafes that are built at the edge. I saw two friends having coffee, enjoying the autumn weather and of course the view. As we move on, we saw a cool arty shop on the left. It showcases unique creations from local artists. Of course they are for sale... I was wondering whether I should showcase my works here. Selling my arty postcards could be a great way to share the spirit of travelling. As to how this mischievous plans of mind to make my arty passion into a full time job, I still need to think more.

Oh yeah, coming back to the shop. They have stuff like badges, bags, toys, a big green dinosaur that will give your kids a big scare. I did not get anything. Oliee was busy having fun with the moustache badge. Putting it on her face to impersonate a sophisticated gentleman had me smilling. Well she did not pull it off in the end. Off we go. Walking down the windy paths, there was a shop selling traditional Korean handcrafts. It was expensive but I love it. Mostly hand knitted with extreme combination of colours (Korean style). I thought to myself that maybe we can get a cheaper version at the night market. I was wrong, anyway we left the shop. Cling Cling.

As we stepped out, Oliee was almost rolled over by a speedy Gonzales, a Korean dude piggy bagging his girlfriend down the slopping street that we were on. My thoughts - was that the trend around here? another mode of transport that Koreans take? or are we on a Korean movie set. Any of which works here. Our next stop is a very trendy place with coffee shops and beautiful boutiques lining the streets. We had a really tasty waffel and coffee, obviously!
