We checked in our bags early while we waited for the other two to arrive. Allow me to introduce Yen Ping and Geh Wynn. We went to Mcdonald’s to meet up with the both of them. Yen Ping was hungry so we headed to The Ipoh White Town Coffee after that. Now here is the funny thing. After the meal we head our way to the gates for boarding. Thinking that we were on time we soon realized that we were absolutely wrong. We only had 5 minutes to get to the gates then. We were one of the last to board the planes. We even had to jump queue. Yen Ping had to persuade an elderly man to give us way but was unsuccessful. That 'gentleman' just won’t move for the world if it had to come to an end. With some help from the airport police we were soon getting our passport verified at the immigration counter. I was running my socks off to the boarding gate. Noticing just the door and no one else behind it brought back salty memories of me having to miss my bus to Singapore. My heart skipped a beat and my legs doubled the revolution.
After we got past the boarding gates, we were told by the officers to run like we never ran before. It was like we were preparing for a race and the Air Asia officers were our coach. It was extreme. Not only was it early in the morning but we were also required to run to the back of the terminal. It was extremely far and obviously breathe taking. It was a great way to start our journey, thinking that we were so excited to even get on the aircraft. Eddy had problems breathing as she has hyper thyroid. She was sensible enough to stop running and walk. As I boarded the plane I was greeted by the cabin crew 'Are you alright sir?'
