This is how dense Tokyo is! They have redefined the term concrete jungle. Tokyo is relatively the size of New York and London put together and it is highly developed. The strange thing about this city is the silence within it even though its size dwarfs New York. The Japanese seems to like silence and peace a lot. They speak softly and refrain from using their mobile phones; especially in the subway. It was a cultural shock for me. Also I have come across a lonely cross road where the pedestrian crossing lights were red. Most of the Japanese that I saw had the patience to wait for it to turn green, even though the roads were empty.
