Here is our room at Ajanta Hotel. We were surrounded by neat looking wallpapers coupled with suttle wall textures. We were offered a public balcony where we can view the busy streets of New Delhi from above; which later became our handy alarm clock because of the synchronize honking from below. Covered with thick orange cloth and soft pillow cases, the bed is fitted for any Maharajah on a backpacking expedition. A flat screen TV is of course within reach. Switch it on and you get India's common hospitality, Bollywood MTV.
The toilet has to be clean and with God's stroke it was. It has a shower head build in to calm your nerves. After the horrific roller coaster ride through New Delhi's congested roads, we thought this was a great way calm our nerves. Fitted with warm lights this toilet was not fitted with a hair dryer. It is not that I needed one but I know most girls with long hair can't live without it. After checking in, we were out and about to look for some grub. The first night was an eye opener for us as we walked through the dusty alley ways of this mystical land, or rather foggy land to be exact.
