New Delhi: White marble structure

I was surrounded by white marble and lush green gardens. That was the theme through out the morning. Most of the surface this historical structure was chiseled away to reveal beautiful curves and flawless lines.  Much of the other parts of the structure are covered with floral designs made from precious stones, inlayed in Indian marble. Indian marble has been known to turn yellow over time. Greek marble on the other hand stays white for a longer time.
"I was awe struck to live the dream I once had of India. Unfortunately the Genghis river is no where near here and it struck me that I will have to come back to India one day."
Everything seems so surreal and unexpected. All that I have thought about India and her characteristics was exactly as how I envisioned it. Misty sunlight against olden structures. Pigeons and other local birds singing above us to the sound of the Mughal Empire. I was awe struck to live the dream I once had of India. Unfortunately the Genghis river is no where near and it struck me that I will have to come back to India one day.
