Jaipur: Rape, Molestation, Robbery

Also known as the Pink City. Almost every building here is seen to embrace pink. Although it may look pretty from here, it is just as dirty as some parts of New Delhi. I saw a cow lying in a pile of rubbish under the sun. I was in the car then and everything looked like something out of a Shocking Asia series. Anyway, the buildings are beautiful and it is worth coming here to experience the shopping too.

Two men came to us when we got out of the car. Let's just call them Shah and Bass respectively. Shah was well dressed and was literally in black; he looked pretty suspicious. Bass on the other hand was dressed in a traditional muslim outfit with a white muslim cap. He had an amber beard and looked pretty old. 'Sir, where are you from? Japan? Korea?' I politely said 'Nope, I am Malaysian'. Shah latter said he knows Malaysia and he wanted us to follow him up some flight of steps through a dark corridor to show us the view of the Pink City. My intuition was screaming Rape, Molestation and Robbery. We decided to follow him in the end.

Going up the narrow steps, all I could see was my friend's ass. Little filament light bulbs lit the way and  my feet in front of me. Putting one feet after the other, I was starting to pant really loudly. When we got to the top we were surprise to see the main attraction basking in the sun before us. The sunlight was coming from behind her so that was a real bummer because we can't take any great photos. Whilst feeling at awe, I was still waiting for the catch, or the cut throat moment, from Shah and Bass. Finally it came. 'You guys have family here no?' one said... 'You are far from home huh' and the other commented... silence... Okay I am kidding so let's rewind a little but. Here was the catch. Shah bagged us to visit his fashion shop. He put on his little sad face that later betrayed us when we found out he was trying to cheat us of our money. That is a whole other story which I will explain in my next blog posting.
