This is like any other glorious Chinese temple you would see around this region but it has a differentiation factor against the others. To start off with, it is facing the Sun Moon lake, which is shape like the rising sun from one side and shape like a moon from the other side. Secondly, Chiang Kai Shek used to hang out around here. It was glorious back in those days. Unfortunately this historical land has already been converted into a hotel. Part of the hotel's structure is gold plated and it cost $1000 to stay for a night. I hope you get the view of the gold plated structure if you so decide to stay here one day.
