Here is a small mausoleum located next to Qutub Minar. It reminds me of a little prayer room that you sometimes see at mosques. Well what you see inside is the actual burial ground of an important individual. You are allowed to walk in and it is even comfortable enough to rest in there. Also the windows surrounding it are carved out of red sandstone. This allows the light and air breeze to flow in.
The dome above it is smoothly shaped out. With age catching up, the surface gave way to the harsh and unforgiving environment over the years. Cracks and watermarks are the sole craftsman of this onion shape dome now. Supporting it are 12 pillars that are carefully crafted as to not give way over time. We were taking our own sweet time posing around it. The whole scene reminds me of 'Cheng Beng'; an event that Chinese from all around the world practices to worship their ancestors. In this case we don't know this great ancestor of someone else of that someone else of that someone else. No typo here.
